Everyone loves an opportunity to kick back and relax. But if you want to take your next leisure trip to the next level, an ultra-luxury vacation rental might be what you’re looking for. In Miami, high-end vacation rental company Luxuri has quickly begun to dominate the growing market for unforgettable stays in beautiful locations.

Luxuri manages a portfolio of luxuriant modern villas with names like Casa De Sol and Villa Medici. Each comes with hotel-style amenities and accommodates up to 20 guests. Renters have access to a 24/7 concierge service to attend to their every need, and they have the option to rent boats and sports cars to round out the vacation experience.

What’s fueling Miami’s demand for large, luxurious vacation rentals? “It goes way back,” explains Larry Shinbaum, a real estate broker with Luxuri International. “Post-COVID, Miami began its transformation to the migration location of the wealthy. It’s promising to be the next Dubai of the United States — lower regulations, lower taxes, and always having underpriced waterfront real estate.”

Travelers seeking beautiful accommodations isn’t new, but in recent years, there’s been a growing market for vacation homes that can house large groups. The size of many of Luxuri’s villas, and the fact that their amenities are modeled after those of hotels, begs an important question: What sets upscale vacation rentals apart from luxury hotels, and why are more travelers than ever gravitating toward them?

“Unlike Las Vegas and Orlando, where there is a sufficient inventory of hotel rooms, Miami and Fort Lauderdale have an insufficient supply to meet the demand of domestic and international tourism that comes into South Florida,” says Shinbaum.

“The luxury villa is the choice for rollover for the additional demand. Being that South Florida is the playground for our ultra-wealthy South American neighbors, luxury villa investments have been pivotal.”

Luxuri strives to ensure that every aspect of the vacation experience meets travelers’ needs and expectations. Each villa includes hotel-style amenities like pools, saunas, fitness centers, and workstations with ultra-fast Wi-Fi. Additionally, the company operates its concierge service itself, so guests don’t have to worry about being passed off to unfamiliar customer service representatives.

The luxury rental market evolves quickly, and Luxuri has already proven that it’s ready to adapt to changing trends.

“We are staying ahead by diversifying our luxury property offerings and prioritizing the guest experience,” says Shinbaum. “Through our new proprietary technology, WoodenDoor, we are able to really personalize guest experiences and ensure that our properties meet our guests’ demands.”

When it comes to meeting those demands, Luxuri doesn’t overlook the little details. “As the luxury market evolves, we are seeing a trend in the wellness space with new amenities like infrared saunas, cold plunges, and even matcha and kombucha,” Shinbaum says.

Currently, Luxuri manages 52 homes in and around Miami, as well as seven properties in Fort Lauderdale. If the market is any indicator, the company is likely to continue growing, both in terms of its real estate portfolio and curating memorable, one-of-a-kind experiences for guests.
